Healthy Weight Loss Program: Cardio Exercise
My healthy weight loss program is centered around eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly and using nutritional vitamin supplements. Each part is important to my overall success though I have lost weight and am focusing on keeping it off, reshaping my body and maybe losing 10 more pounds slowly. In other words, Now that I have lost a few pounds and I look good, I want to look even better. I want to tone my muscles. The fat burner supplements can be used in the best way here.
My Fitness Program.
Part of a healthy weight loss program is exercising regularly. This becomes your fitness program. Regular exercise is generally broken down into three main categories and all are important for your overall health. They are; Cardiovascular exercise, resistance training, and stretching and breathing. There are reasons to do work all three categories everyday. Cardiovascular exercise focuses on continual movement and helps our hearts, our blood flow, circulation, breathing and may help us even shed a few pounds. Many people erroneously believe that cardio is the most important key to losing weight and reshaping their bodies. Yes it is important, but cardio exercise is only an element in your total fitness program. Your fitness program is just a part of your healthy weight loss program which is your plan for a healthy lifestyle.
Me and My Elliptical Exerciser.
About six months ago I purchased a Pro-Form Elliptical Exerciser for under $500 and have been very happy with it. The machine sits in my garage and I go out daily for a stroll, so to speak. My workout started as 20 to 30 minutes every other day until I got serious about reshaping my body and going to the next level in my fitness program. Historically, like everyone else I start and stop my fitness routine. There is a time when i am focused and a time where I can not find the motivation or make time to exercise. Whenever I start I program I naturally start with cardio. What I find is cardio exercise gives me the stamina and energy to do resistance training. Therefore i may spend a month or two only doing cardio or very little resistance exercise. I am moving out of that phase now to add muscle building as key focus. But today I spend 45 to 60 minutes on my elliptical exerciser.
My Elliptical Exerciser Routine.
I am on the exerciser 4 to 5 times a week from 45 to 60 minutes. The first 15 to 30 minutes is warm up time. Now that may seem like a long warm up and it is. You only need about 5 minutes to warm up and get your heart pumping and the blood flowing. But this is my reading time. Whether I am reading the bible and meditating on God’s Word or reading a book, article, white paper, or something to do with work, I use this 15 to 30 minutes to do so while I walk at a slightly brisk but easy pace.
Then I put the book down and begin my Cardio Workout. The next 30 minutes will range from high intensity Aerobic exercise as I push myself with a higher resistance and greater speeds which are varied throughout the workout. By varying the speed and resistance I am not only getting a good aerobic workout, but also good anerobic training. Ultimately I burn calories and lose fat. I currently burn between 650 and 750 calories during that 30 minute workout.
By adding this dynamic to my healthy weight loss program I am burning about an extra pound a week from my cardio exercise routine. This is the first phase of my fitness program and it can help you get started as well.
Conclusion-
Do you ever think how you gain weight and how you lose it? Fat gets stored just under the skin, so the next layer after the skin is fat. All the fat from the food gets stored there but when you work on burning it, it burns part by part, particle by particle which demands patience.
